COFFEE TALKS
Coffee reading is a practice that dates back to the 16th century in the Ottoman Empire and the Middle East. Fortune tellers make predictions from coffee ground patterns. Given that I lack fortune telling attributes for this art project I used my imagination and portrayed the abstract concepts I see in the coffee sediments onto a blank canvas, combining the base image of the coffee sediments and adding layers of photographs to convert a conceptual thought into an image.
